Beyond Words are from Maryland, and to the best of my knowledge only released this one 45 in 1984. It was released on Speechless records. It's your typical sound for a record released during this time. The lineup consists of Lisa Matthews on lead vocals, Mike Gehl on guitar, George Kondylas on drums/vocals, Doug Scrivener on sax, synth/vocals, and Mark Evanko on bass/vocals. The band shows characteristics of a cross between Pylon and Rubber Rodeo with a side of Romeo Void. Anyway, you all decide and let me know what you think of this record. I personally favor "Anything Real" over "In My Dreams."

Hey Justin, so glad to see you started your blog. I am already a follower. For the records, Anything Real is really a good song. Never heard of it before.

The interesting thing about this single, is that it seems to me that the b-side, Anything Real, is the much stronger of the 2 tracks.
