Resistance "She Went Walkin'/Bombs For Peace" 45 1986
Resistance "She Went Walkin'/Bombs For Peace" 45 1986
Second posting for day 1 of my blog leads us to a band by the name of Resistance. This was their one and only release from the year 1986. It was released on Taboo records out of Los Angeles, CA. "She Went Walkin'" to me sounds like a mimicked Rhyme & Reason-era Missing Persons song. "Bombs For Peace" while similar is a toned down duet track. The band is comprised of Charity James on lead vocals, Ted Steward on guitar/keyboards, Dominic Bakewell on guitar/keyboards, Mary Ann Heimann on bass, and finally Ralph Hale our man on drums. I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on this record. Enjoy!
